Tuesday, November 18, 2003   In case you missed it: In Summer 2003 we saw the release of 'Australian Rules', a new album by Mick Harvey of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Australian Rules is the original soundtrack to the film of the same name. Directed by Paul Goldman, the film has played at many film festivals across the world including Sundance, the Edinburgh Film Festival, Verona and the London Australian Film Festival in addition to opening the Athens International Film Festival and closing the Melbourne International Film Festival. Australian Rules has so far received many awards and nominations, including a nomination for the Best Score for Mick Harvey from the Australian Film Institute.
